From 2016–2019 the Death Talk Project organized workshops, rituals, Death Cafés, a monthly movie night, and other events. This legacy site documents our approach to useful, honest conversation about how we die, how we mourn, and how we care for and remember our dead.
About Us
Inspiration. Information. Connection.
Produced by Life-Cycle Celebrant Holly Pruett with the support of White Eagle Memorial Preserve and other collaborators, the Death Talk Project was active from 2016–2019 as an outgrowth of PDX Death Cafe and Death:OK (Let’s Talk About It), a 500-person daylong event held in Portland, Oregon in 2015.
